Remove the baseboard in the closet in the downstairs bedroom to be able to cut off the drywall behind it. This will expose the area that may have potential growth. This is the exploration area to identify what’s going on, if anything behind the drywall.
Removal of the drywall behind the baseboard to expose what if anything is behind the wall.
Put the drywall and baseboard back on.(If there is nothing on the wall the drywall will go back on the wall. This includes tape and mudding the areas as well as painting and caulking the areas).
Remove the baseboard around the bedroom to take up the floor for vapor barrier.
Removal of the flooring in the basement bedroom to add a vapor barrier on the concrete to moisture won’t continue to persist.
Install vapor barrier and new flooring in the bedroom where signs of water intrusion occurred. (This price includes the purchase of the flooring and the materials to get the new flooring in with vapor barrier.
Install baseboard back in the room (This includes install, caulking and paint).
