Work includes protection of surrounding areas, full demo of shower materials down to studs and subfloor as needed, and proper disposal of all debris. Area will be cleaned and prepped for inspection and mold remediation.
Open wall cavity (3 feet wide by 8 feet high) to access and treat all mold-affected areas. Apply professional-grade antimicrobial and mold-neutralizing solutions following IICRC standards. Clean and treat the 3’ x 3’ subfloor area—both top and underside—to remove visible contamination and prevent future microbial growth. Final inspection ensures all affected materials are fully remediated. Also clean crawlspace.
Install new custom tile shower system, including waterproof underlayment, backer board, and tile base pan. Work includes setting wall and floor tile, grouting, and sealing for a durable, water-resistant finish. All work is performed to meet industry standards for longevity and aesthetic appeal. Client to select tile and grout color prior to installation.
Remove and replace existing shower valve assembly with new, customer-approved fixture. Work includes rough-in adjustments, testing for leaks, and ensuring full functionality before wall closure and tile installation.
Repair and blend drywall around the guest bathroom shower surround, including patching, sanding, and applying minimal matching texture. Walls will be cleaned with mold remediation solution before finish work. Apply primer (if needed) and two coats of customer-supplied paint to three walls for a clean, uniform finish.
