FRENCH DRAIN SYSTEM

Exterior French Drain System (Approx. 30 LF)

Layout OSB in the yard no there’s no damaged areas. 

Layout and mark drain line approx. 30 linear feet along perimeter of house where water is intruding.

Excavate trench to appropriate depth and slope. Needs to go to foundation footer to reassure water doesn’t enter.

Remove old drain (Is poorly designed)

Install filter fabric, 4″ perforated drain pipe, and washed drain rock.

Tie drain line into collection basin.

Backfill and rough grade disturbed areas.

Includes sealing the foundation with sealant

Connect French drain line(s) into basin area.

Backfill and install dirt back in.

Tie in existing gutter downspouts to the french drain

Repair any sprinkler areas that might be harmed in the area.

CRAWLSPACE

Crawlspace Drying – Localized Wet Corner

Access crawlspace and set containment as needed around affected corner.

Deploy drying equipment (air movers and dehumidifier) focused on localized wet area only.

Remove equipment after drying is complete.

New Crawlspace Vapor Barrier. Remove and dispose of existing compromised vapor barrier. Install new 6-mil polyethylene vapor barrier across crawlspace.

Overlap seams, run up foundation walls where accessible, and wrap.
